Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme (Category 2 – Conventional Shell and Tube Industrial Steam Boilers) for Managers

Description

The Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme (BOAS) is a nationally-recognised qualification for boiler operators and boiler house managers; the Combustion Engineering Association (CEA) has designed this course with the Health and Safety Executive, the insurance industry and boiler manufacturers, with support from the Carbon Trust. BK Labtech is one of the few UK official BOAS Training Providers.

This course is suitable for those who manage a boiler house and the operators, and who may not be currently operating the boilers. It is recommended that they have attend pre-assessment training such as the BKL:BOM-BC course. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months experience, or 100 hours of proven practical experience. Upon passing the BOAS exams and verbal assessment, candidates will receive CEA certification for 5 years for Diploma in Boiler Plant Operation Management.

5 days

9:30am – 4:30pm

Additional study is required on days 1 to 4 (recommended 2 hours per day).
