Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme (Category 2 – Conventional Shell and Tube Industrial Steam Boilers) for Operators
Description
The Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme (BOAS) is a nationally-recognised qualification for boiler operators and boiler house managers; the Combustion Engineering Association (CEA) has designed this course with the Health and Safety Executive, the insurance industry and boiler manufacturers, with support from the Carbon Trust. BK Labtech is one of the few UK official BOAS Training Providers.
This course is suitable for experienced boiler operators. It is recommended that they have attend pre-assessment training such as the BKL:BOM-BC course. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months experience, or 100 hours of proven practical experience. Upon passing the BOAS exams and verbal assessment, candidates will receive CEA certification for 5 years, as a Certified Industrial Boiler Operator.

Additional study required on days 1 to 3 (recommended 2 hours per day)
